Optimism in the Bakken Dickinson N. D.
A great hometown welcome from the business community of Dickinson N. D. was extended to exhibitors and patrons for the 2015 Bakken Oil Products and Service Show this year.
Despite the declining oil prices, many successful Bakken companies came to present the latest in oilfield technology and services. The attitude and commitment of these companies to the Bakken is unwavering. Solid companies such as Iron Works, Bull Dog Energy Services, C J Energy, and the John Crane Company have a strong outlook for the upstream side for 2016. An innovative concept was presented by Power Blanket; heat spreading technology that provides prevention of fluid and instrumentation freezing in harsh weather conditions. Power Blanket currently provides; Frac Tank Heaters, Valve Heaters, Pipe Heaters, and Instrumentation Heaters with the ability to customize for specialized equipment. This allows for smooth field operations in drilling and well stimulation during the worst time of winter.
The Bakken show has a certain American spirit that radiates among the patrons. Innovation and a commitment to improving the process shows the Bakken Shale will continue to be a great American story.
